Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
