Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been earned on hardcourt
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev won his initial title for 882 days with success over Frenchman Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a former top-ranked player, has had a challenging season, achieving just one win at the Grand Slams and experiencing a difficult moment at the American major.
Medvedev's varied form on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his serving in particular - led to him exiting of the top ten and ultimately splitting with long-time trainer Cervara.
Currently working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually improved in the recent weeks - climaxing in a closely contested three-set win over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents his maiden trophy since the Italian tournament and first on a hard court from that period of 2023.
Victory also means the Russian has won 21 titles at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my both daughters at once, so to secure a championship is really nice," said world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had lost his past six finals, featuring in the German tournament previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and frequent outbursts on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the elite level was over.
However the player has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, attempting to come to the net and compete positively, reinforced by an better serving game.
Medvedev came back from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult opponent, winning 4 of the final five points to gain the advantage.
The competitors swapped breaks in the following set before the challenger, attempting for his maiden tour title, gained dominance to push for a decider.
He defended four early break points in a close third set before the Russian broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev clinched victory with a point at the net area, with Moutet incapable to control a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
